  USAMonitoring NOC Center

USAMonitoring's state-of-the-art Networks Operations Center (NOC) monitors thousands of systems 24/7  nationwide. All alarms generated by the systems we monitor are sent to our NOC, and processed through our IRISnGEN monitoring system. System alarms are filtered through our system and classified by type. All alarms are catalogued and archived for customer reporting. Minor and Major Alarms collected immediately illicit a response from the system. The system notifies our on-site representatives and the system refers to the USAMonitoring database for alarm escalation. Alarms are tracked both through the system and are identified on our IRISnGEN MapViewer system , point and click drill-down functionality provides immediate access to details on important data, whether it's an an alarm message from a failing system or the street level map and directions required for the technicians that are to be dispatched.

A proven alarm detection and reporting agent, IRISnGEN provides a totally integrated alarm management system. Regardless of the type of device you wish to monitor - a legacy PBX, or IVR, Norstar KSU, network element with an SNMP agent, or a contact closure device such a fire alarm or door sensor - IRISnGEN provides the ideal solution. IRISnGEN, is a sophisticated alarms management tool, which gives single-point visibility and control of all monitored systems. Critical data displayed instantly on-screen identifies trouble areas and faulty equipment. Problems can often be corrected remotely, avoiding costly site visits. When on-site service is required, technicians arrive with exactly the information they need to take immediate corrective action. Response time and maintenance costs are reduced. Our system features:

  • Alarm Forwarding - automatically or manually forward any alarm to the proper personnel before a crisis
  • Automatic Escalation - ensures no alarm is missed
  • Hierarchy - structure the customer-site-host relationships in the IRISnGEN database to meet the unique reporting, viewing, or to support organizational needs
